A few years ago, several professors asked if we could organize a cup show for students. We are always happy to organize a 20% off discount code for a class to use on anything on our website, then we can ship the pieces together to the university/art center/etc. Over time, that idea also evolved into a dedicated program within our nonprofit, Bright-Root. Through this program, we offer cups at $15 to students, faculty, and staff. The cups are intentionally presented without information about their maker, firing process, or glazes. They each include just one photo. Instead, we can include a card with questions designed to spark investigation. You may recognize some of their makers!
