  • About

The word "Handbuilt" in pottery describes works made without the use of a wheel. In this show, handbuilding methods include coiling, slab-building, pinching, use of hump molds, as well as combinations of each. There is a wide variety of shapes and forms that can be created by handbuilding. Featuring work by Liz Zlot Summerfield, Justine Allison, Hayne Bayless, Jude Jelfs, Eiko Maeda, and Kate Marotz.
