Surfaceness is all about what’s happening on the outside of the pot. These pieces have been pushed through processes like multiple firings, reduction cooling, and crystal growth to create rich, unexpected surface finishes. Sometimes shiny, sometimes matte, sometimes both at once; these pots wear their histories in texture, color, and glaze. It’s a show about how the surface can tell its own story, shaped by heat, time, and a bit of unpredictability in the kiln.
